The LɅɅNCH team redesigned the Savannah Convention & Visitor Bureau website to extend the branded experience, add trip-planning functionality, implement metrics and facilitate the capture of leads. Results appeared immediately. As soon as the new website appeared, the number of pages opened by visitors jumped from 2 to 6 – with visitors seeing eight pages and spending more than nine minutes on the site. Over 11,000 new leads were collected within six months, representing a 200% increase. Additionally, a new $300,000 source of revenue for the CVB was created by its ability to sell banner ads, sponsorships, and Travelocity booking widgets.
